Designers from around the globe vie to participate in the New York Fashion Week. Due to the pandemic situation that has taken over the planet, the New York Fashion Week was held and lauded virtually this time around. Also, a vaccine card was mandatory to attend the show. #1 Marc Jacobs

Bold and brilliant designs were on display virtually. The theme of the collection was black and white oversized logo coats, matching tights with bucket hats and beanies.

Featuring a rust-colored one-piece dress, Aliette grabbed eyeballs with the magic of the material. The look was assembled by tightly pulled back hair, a dewy look, and minimal lip color. The high neckline was sheer and featured a collar. If you could put together a jumpsuit as a dress, this is the one.

Featuring a brownish maroon monochrome ensemble, this look had a 3-piece unconventional suit. A tight jumpsuit with an overcoat and blazer were the highlights of this look. Minimal makeup and monochromatic theme were what made this one of the top looks at the New York Fashion Week.

Raising the temperature was the hot ensemble by La Quan Smith. An electric blue thigh-slit  A-Line skirt coupled with a grey strapless top was the foundation of this look. A grey overcoat completed this rich cleavage look with minimal makeup and straight hair.

#5 Oscar de la Renta

A flowery-themed mini dress, this look featured multi-colored flowers on a full-sleeved short dress. The look was completed by the open hair and a dewy makeup look.

#6 Alejandra Alonso Rojas

With a consistent dual-colored theme, this look features a three-piece ensemble. White and tan, signifying the human race, this look was carried off by a woman of color, supporting the cause. Consisting of a long headscarf wrapped around on both sides, a short strapless tie around the top, hipster pants, and open toes, this look was lauded.

#7 Tom Ford

The show’s highlight was an ensemble by Tom Ford, featuring an oversized black velvet overcoat with a double-breasted blazer contrasting gold buttons. The colored model wore dark sunglasses, black sheers with black and gold pumps.

The runway turned hot pink with a Christian Siriano sheer dress. Featuring bunched-up frills, this sheer hot pink dress displayed a triangular cleavage and sheer sleeves. The look was completed by metallic danglers and a no-makeup look with nude lips.

A long fluffy deep cyan overcoat, an inverted neck olive green top, a large embellished belt, brown gloves, and thigh-high boots were the highlight of the design by Khaite at the New York Fashion Week.

#11 Studio 189

A multi-colored ensemble by Studio 189 was carried off by a woman of color. The hairdo was that of cornrows and dreadlocks. The highlight of this look was the dual design of the flared skirt. While one half of the skirt featured a multi-colored geometric pattern, the other side was spotlessly white.

A white close-necked top paired with a maroon leather blazer and maroon leather pencil pants featured the Rosetta Getty look. This was coupled with white platform boots.
