When the co-founders, Pawan Gupta and Abhishek Sharma, birthed Fashinza, they had an impeccable vision in mind. Currently, Fashinza has joined hands with hundreds of manufacturers and changed apparel manufacturing and its supply chain for the better. Incorporating technology with traditional methods to provide a smooth-sailing supply chain has changed the lives of many manufacturers, including Saravanan, the director of Sai Sri Exports.

Saravanan is the owner of Sai Sri Exports in Tirupur. With more than 25 years of experience in apparel manufacturing, he is more than happy to be a part of the Fashinza family and has shared his views during a conversation.

Fashinza: How many years has your factory been operational, how many employees currently work with you, and what is your current daily production capacity?

Saravanan: The company was started in 2014 and has been operating successfully for the past 10 years. I have been in the apparel manufacturing field for almost 28 years. Here, we primarily focus on the men's and women's categories. Our production capacity is a minimum of one lakh pieces per month.

Fashinza: What made you choose Fashinza? How long have you been working with Fashinza? How many pieces have you successfully delivered with Fashinza?

Saravanan: I actually came across Fashinza through a friend of mine, and I'm very glad I did. I was very impressed by their work and their ethics, so I was very keen to work with Fashinza. So yeah, that happened, and we've been working with them for the past year. We have successfully delivered to more than 15 brands and more than 2 lakh pieces just within a year, which was revolutionary for me!

Fashinza: How has Fashinza helped you in your business growth?

Saravanan: I believe that the apparel industry needs the "4M's": Marketing, Manufacturing, Merchandise, and many more. We have manufactured for more than 15 brands through Fashinza. Without their interference, working with 15 brands under a year is such a hectic task. Fashinza is taking care of marketing and merchandise, which has made my work much easier. They provide better communication to clients, making sure there are no misunderstandings. Production, material, and quality plan are all included in their platform. By providing end-to-end services, they have made the entire process hassle-free. They've given training for me and also my staff and made us adapt to the present tech, which helps in manufacturing, design, and delivery. Through Fashinza, we have received raw material finance, which has proved to be useful for me to take my business to the next level, that too with very decent interest.

Saravanan: As a director of this company, I concentrate on marketing, finance, and infrastructure. All the merchandise, quality, and quantity are taken care of by third or fourth-level people.
